Arriving from ROMA (A1 northbound): exit the highway at FIRENZE SUD. Drive along Via Marco Polo, then across the Arno river and turn left at the traffic-lights; straight along downstream (Arno river on your left) for about 5 km (3 miles); turn right at the traffic-lights into Viale Giovanni Amendola, move to the left lane; at the next traffic-lights turn left twice. At the big stone tower turn right, drive along the riverside until Piazza Cavalleggeri.
